Mentoring Services

Mentoring for founders and solo leaders who think differently.

I work with founders, solo leaders, and early-stage business owners navigating growth, change, or disruption - helping you build a business that fits the way your brain actually works, not the way the textbooks said it should.

How we'll work together

We'll typically work together over 3–4 months, meeting every other week — kept flexible, and reviewed as we go. There's no fixed commitment beyond what's useful to you.

My role is to act as a mirror and an accountability partner, not to tell you what to do. You know your business best — my job is to ask the right questions, spot the patterns and blind spots you can't see from inside it, and bring in ways of thinking from other industries facing similar shifts.

The shape of it:

  • Where you are now — understanding your business as it stands, what's working, what's not

  • Finding the core — identifying the thing everything else should support, and mapping your flywheel

  • Building the plan — concrete steps forward, with options and trade-offs to weigh up

By the end, the aim is a clearer vision and enough tools in place that you can keep going independently — though it's just as fine to extend, pause, or pick things up again later.

Why I mentor the way I do

I'm neurodivergent, and I've spent a long time learning to treat that as an asset rather than a liability — the pattern recognition, the systems thinking, the ability to hold complexity and translate it into something actionable. Those are my strengths.

If you think in webs rather than straight lines, see everything but struggle to sequence it, or want a space where you don't have to perform neurotypicality to be taken seriously — this is for you.

Alongside lived experience, I bring:

  • ABM Foundations in Business Mentoring

  • Entrepreneur in Residence, University of the Arts London — working directly with early-stage founders to build a business around their brain

  • MicroMasters in Business Leadership, University of Queensland

  • Verified Mentor on Mentro

Over a decade in-house and fractional across fashion, lifestyle, and creative consumer brands — commercial, operational, and strategic roles, often all three at once.

Testimonials

"Emma was my mentor whilst I was studying on a Help to Grow course for my role as manager for a retail craft gallery with a growing team. Having a weekly session was incredibly valuable as a way to address the day to day issues as they arose and how they linked to the bigger picture... Emma is a calming presence and a great listener. She will ask the right questions to help you uncover ways to improve your working life and business goals together. I would 100% recommend Emma as a mentor." — Jeweller & Retail Gallery Manager

"Emma helped me to understand my business in a new way. She has helped me to become confident in scaling and promoting my business. She has a personable and relatable manner and knows how to ask the right thought provoking questions." — Therapist

"Emma was my mentor for 3 months. She was reliable, consistent, and true to her word... As a solopreneur, it can be lonely and quite difficult to get outsider perspective on business decisions... If you need someone open minded, takes initiative, knows what they're doing and gives good advice, get first dibs on Emma!" — Artist & Community Builder

Pricing

My mentoring prices are offered across three tiers, so cost isn't the reason someone who'd benefit doesn't get in touch:

  • Full rate — for established businesses, or where an employer is covering the cost

  • Mid rate — for those who can cover the cost, but for whom the full rate would make consistent commitment difficult

  • Supported rate — for those who need the space but couldn't otherwise access it, with a small financial commitment kept in place so it stays a genuine two-way commitment

Get in touch and let me know what feels right for you — no need to justify it.

A free workbook to help you start designing your business around how you work best — before you commit to anything else.

If you're not ready for 1:1 mentoring yet, or just want a taste of how I work, start here.

Ready to start, or still working out if this is the right fit?

Either is a fine place to be. Get in touch and tell me a bit about where you're at, and we'll take it from there.
